Turkish tenor Faik Mansuroğlu was trained as a baritone and switched to the tenor fach in 2021. As an ensemble member of Ankara State Opera, he has since performed the roles of Riccardo (Un ballo in maschera) and Turridu (Cavalleria Rusticana). As a baritone, he was an ensemble member at Mersin State Opera and Ballet where he sang many of the leading lyric baritone roles. He performed the role of Conte d’Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) at The New Generation Festival 2019 in Florence, Italy. In the same year he was awarded the Best Young Generation Singer of the Year Award by the Semiha Berksoy Foundation and invited to participate in the Georg Solti Bel Canto Accademia and the Mediterranean Opera Studio.
